I Had a Dream...

Do you remember your dreams? I sure do. I remember all my dreams, and let me tell you, it's not always the best ability. But what exactly does a dream consist of? Many think dreams are symbolic. This is actually a thought originally come up with by Dr. Freud himself. He believed that dreams are the mirror to a man's soul. That every dream we have has deeper meanings. This is actually untrue...but there is just a sliver of truth in it. Dreams are our way of working through our problems in real life oftentimes. Our dreams are actually our real everyday thoughts brought back to the forefront of our minds.

My dreams are very vivid, and I always learn from them...but they get frustrating sometimes, because I often dream of possible outcomes to decisions I need to make in real life...the bad part is some of those outcomes are undesirable to me. Which bring up another point...

Too often God asks me to step up and do things that I don't think I can do...or that I am just not important enough to do. But think about it: God is perfect, and being perfect, His plan is perfect...so any of His plans concerning me are perfect. I may not be a perfect man, but God's plan for me IS perfect. How amazing is that to know? It's just like the Church! The Church is the "Bride of Christ." And it is a PERFECT bride. Are we as humans perfect? NO. But is the Church? YES! How amazing is it to know that we are part of something perfect!

How can we not have a wonderful attitude knowing that!
